After spending two days among the rubble caused by the earthquakes in Venezuela, the body of the young Venezuelan soccer player Yimvert Berroterán (18) was found next to that of his girlfriend, Valentina Sandoval. The information was confirmed by the Venezuelan Football Federation.
According to the Venezuelan media ‘El Nacional’, the young soccer player and his partner spent almost two days in the rubble of a building after the earthquakes that shook Venezuela last June 24.
Their bodies were recovered this Friday andin the middle of the collapses in the area of the town of La Guaira.
In this regard, the Venezuelan Football Federation confirmed the death of the athlete and highlighted his commitment to defend the colors of his national team.

“Today Venezuelan football bids farewell with immense pain to a young man who represented the colors of our country with pride, commitment and love. His departure mourns the entire Vinotinto family and leaves an indelible mark in those who shared with him on and off the field,” published the aforementioned federation.

Selection and mother asked for ransom
