The police reported on Saturday of a serious accident that occurred around 6:45 a.m. on Rue de Mondorf in Remich. According to initial findings, a 67-year-old lost control of his tractor as a result of feeling unwell. The vehicle initially collided with a car parked in the parking lane.
Driver dies in hospital
The tractor then drove over a road barrier post and crashed into a wall. Rescue workers rescued the driver from the cab and initiated resuscitation measures. An ambulance immediately took the man to the hospital.
The 67-year-old later died there despite attempts at resuscitation. Police were informed of his death some time after the accident.
