If the agreement is signed, Bangladesh will be the second country after Pakistan to use the Chinese fighter jet. Each fighter jet costs 40 million dollars, which is about 378 crore rupees in Indian currency.
As important as this move is for the modernization of the Bangladesh Air Force, this decision is also very significant for the geopolitics of South Asia. The power equation in the Bay of Bengal is expected to undergo a major change. Therefore, India is also keeping an eye on the terms and conditions of the agreement between the two countries.
