An additional complaint asks for help in locating a Cuban presented only as “Mr. Reinier,” who supposedly resided in La Guaira. The notice circulates through a Facebook videobut his file – located on the Venezuelan platform – identifies him as Reinier Campos, a 45-year-old Cuban, with whom his family lost contact on June 24 in La Guaira. He is described as a man 1.70 meters tall, corpulent, tattooed, with blue eyes and light hair.
In parallel, a family residing in Marín, Pontevedra, remains missing after traveling to Venezuela. The Cuban Government assured after the earthquakes that the Health collaborators stationed in Venezuela were fine. The statement, however, refers to the active members of the official missions and does not allow us to know the situation of the thousands of Cubans who reside in that country for family, professional or immigration reasons.
