On April 19, 2026, the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force reported three recent court matters involving offences of simple wounding and wounding with intent, comprising two instances of simple wounding and one of wounding with intent.
Among those charged are Seymour Liburd and Morley Gumbs, both of St. Kitts, were both charged in separate simple wounding matters. Liburd was formally charged on April 2, 2026, at the Basseterre Police Station, while Gumbs was charged on March 10, 2026, at the Sandy Point Police Station.
In a separate matter, Andrew Davis of Old Road, St. Kitts, and Stoney Grove, Nevis, has been charged with wounding with intent. The charge stems from an incident on April 4, 2026, along Lower Prince William Street in Charlestown, Nevis. He was subsequently charged at the Cotton Ground Police Station on April 8, 2026.
Overall, the cases form part of ongoing violent crime matters before the courts in St. Kitts and Nevis.
