Doha – Ahmed Mustafa:
Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys celebrated the graduation of the fifth batch of its students for the academic year 2025-2026, numbering 56 students, in the presence of Her Excellency Mrs. Lulwah bint Rashid bin Mohammed Al Khater, Minister of Education and Higher Education.
The ceremony was witnessed by His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Ms. Maha Zayed Al Qaqaa Al Ruwaili, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs, and Mr. Muhammad Ali Mandani Al Emadi, Director of the School, along with a number of educational leaders, parents, and members of the educational and administrative bodies.
The Ministry of Education and Higher Education stated that the graduates of the fifth batch achieved a university acceptance rate of 100 percent, as all graduates obtained study places in 14 universities inside and outside the State of Qatar, distributed among five countries, while the number of students accepted into prestigious international universities reached 7 students. It showed that university admission results showed a diversity in the specializations that graduates enrolled in, as mechanical engineering came in first place, followed by human medicine and electrical engineering, in addition to other specializations that included petroleum and gas engineering, chemical engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, nuclear engineering, and aviation and space engineering. She explained that the students of the fifth batch achieved outstanding results in international standardized tests, as the average SAT score reached about 1169, while the highest student scored 1530, the average IELTS score reached about 7.06, and the highest score reached 8.0.
Maha Al-Ruwaili: Qatar School of Science and Technology is a pioneering educational institution
Mrs. Maha Zayed Al-Qaqaa Al-Ruwaili, Assistant Undersecretary for Educational Affairs, confirmed that the celebration is not limited to the completion of a stage of education, but rather represents a new beginning for a generation of the nation’s people who believed that the future is made with science, knowledge, will, and work.
She said that the Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys has established its position as a pioneering educational institution whose role is not limited to transferring knowledge, but extends to building personality, refining skills, developing the spirit of initiative and innovation, and opening the horizons of research and exploration for students, noting that the graduation of the fifth batch constitutes an important milestone in the school’s journey and renewed evidence that investing in people is the greatest, most impactful, and most sustainable investment.
She added: The graduate students went through an educational journey full of learning and acquiring knowledge and experiences that will form a solid foundation for their future careers, explaining that they learned that knowledge is power, morals are the basis of success, innovation is a national responsibility, and that the nation expects its children to contribute effectively to the process of development and construction.
She called on the graduates to continue learning and to adhere to ambition as it is a journey that knows no limits, stressing that the State of Qatar has provided its children with distinguished educational opportunities and broad horizons for creativity and excellence, and looks forward to them today to be active partners in achieving further progress and prosperity.
During the ceremony, Al-Ruwaili announced that Qatar School of Science and Technology had obtained the international STEM Certification from Cognia International, a new achievement added to the school’s record of successes.
She explained that this accreditation represents the culmination of the efforts made to build a qualitative educational program that meets the highest international quality standards in the fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics, noting that the school achieved in the evaluation process a score of 3.9 points out of 4, which reflects the advanced level that the school has reached in applying the best educational practices.
She stressed that international accreditation is a prestigious quality mark that enhances parents’ confidence in the educational institution, and confirms its commitment to providing an integrated educational environment that keeps pace with international standards and qualifies students to compete in the most prestigious universities and academic institutions.
She also expressed her appreciation for the academic and administrative staff at the school, praising their role in providing a stimulating educational environment that combines discipline, creativity, science, values and ambition, stressing that they were true partners in achieving this success.
Muhammad Mandani: Preparing an elite group of Qatari youth who are scientifically and cognitively qualified
Professor Mohammed Mandani Al-Emadi, Director of Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys, stressed that the school continues to fulfill its national mission in preparing an elite group of scientifically and cognitively qualified Qatari youth, noting that the students of the fifth batch demonstrated, during four years of study, a firm determination and a strong will that enabled them to overcome challenges and achieve achievements.
He explained that the school’s students raised the name of Qatar in many scientific forums, and achieved advanced positions in local, regional and international competitions, which reflects the quality of the educational and training programs offered by the school.
He addressed the graduates, saying: Their country looks to them today, just as the hearts of their fathers and mothers overflow with pride and pride in them, calling on them to be a model in morals, science, and work, and to bear responsibility for the future with resolve and persistence, and to continue the path of excellence and creativity in various scientific and technical fields.
He added: The four years that the students spent at school were full of hard work, diligence, and the acquisition of knowledge and skills that qualify them to face the challenges of the future, expressing his confidence in their ability to continue on the path of success and contribute to serving the nation and its elevation.

A number of Qatar School of Science and Technology graduates confirmed that being honored as one of the first graduates represents the culmination of years of hard work and diligence, and a harvest of their efforts and the efforts of their families and teachers who supported them throughout their academic career. Student Faisal Al-Haydos, from the mechanical engineering track, said that this achievement came thanks to God Almighty and then with the support of his parents, family and teachers, expressing his happiness at being accepted into the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom, which is considered one of the most prestigious universities in the world. He stressed that the years of study at the school were full of experiences and experiences that would contribute to building his academic and professional future, expressing his aspiration to be an honorable role model for his family and colleagues.
For his part, student Muhammad Darwish Al-Mashhadi, from the medical track, described the moment he was honored by Her Excellency Mrs. Lulwah bint Rashid Al Khater, Minister of Education and Higher Education, as an important milestone in his life, representing the best end to the stage of school education and the beginning of a new stage during which he seeks to achieve his future goals and ambitions. He also thanked his mother, stressing that she was his main supporter and helped guide him to take advantage of educational opportunities and learn early about the work environment and professional life.
In turn, student Muhammad Saleh, from the mechanical engineering track, expressed his gratitude to his family and teachers who played a prominent role in his excellence, stressing that the school contributed greatly to preparing him for university life and the labor market through applied and training programs, competitions, and specialized workshops that enhanced his skills and knowledge in his scientific field.
Student Muhammad Hussein Al-Haddad, from the mechanical engineering track, indicated that the support he received from his family, teachers, and friends was an essential factor in achieving this success, expressing his enthusiasm for starting the university stage and undergoing its experiences and challenges, in a way that contributes to expanding his scientific and life awareness and developing his professional capabilities. Student Khaled Al Mansouri, from the mechanical engineering track, confirmed that the honor represents a defining moment in his academic career and a strong motivation to continue excelling during the university stage, noting that the science and knowledge he will acquire during his next studies will place him with the responsibility of using them to serve the nation and raising his flag in various scientific and international forums. For his part, student Khaled Al-Yafei, from the electrical engineering track, said that he aspires to return to the homeland after completing his studies abroad, loaded with knowledge and experiences that will enable him to contribute to the development of the electricity and energy sector. He stressed that his excellence came thanks to God and then with the continued support of his family, wishing his fellow graduates continued success and excellence in their academic and professional careers. As for the student Sultan Muhammad, from the mechanical engineering track, he confirmed that his family’s support was the main pillar behind his excellence and obtaining this honor, noting that he will join Hamad Bin Khalifa University to continue his university studies, with his aspiration to complete postgraduate studies and achieve the highest academic degrees in his specialty. Student Abdul Rahman Al Kuwari also called on his fellow graduates to continue seeking knowledge and not stop developing their knowledge and skills, stressing that continuous learning is the path towards success and excellence.
