The army guaranteed the occupation of four regions of Ukraine: revealed how much longer Putin promises to fight
The Russian occupation army allegedly guarantees the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin to take control of four regions of Ukraine, as long as there are enough human resources, a source told the publication “Verstka”.
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin has no intention of ending the war against Ukraine and is ready to continue military operations for at least another two to three years.
The Russian publication “Verstka” writes about this, citing a source close to one of the European intelligence services.
Speaking about a possible new wave of mobilization in Russia, the interviewer called it one of the “hypothetical strict measures”.
According to the journalist’s source, Putin “does not want to end the war and is ready to fight for another two or three years.”
“There are fears of instability if the fighting were to stop now in the current situation without any significant progress,” the source said.
Therefore, according to him, “strict measures, mobilization and war economy” are being considered.
“The army allegedly guarantees him (Putin) full control of four regions of Ukraine, as long as there are enough human resources,” the interviewee of the publication is quoted as saying.
Another journalist’s source, identified as an employee of a Russian state-owned corporation responsible for the recruitment of soldiers under contracts, provided more information about the possible mobilization. He said preparations for “what will never be called a mobilization” have been underway for “several months.” At the same time, he said, efforts are being made to take into account “the mistakes of the mobilization of 2022”.
He also stated that “from October” the training centers of the Russian occupation army will be ready to receive tens of thousands of people for training. Later, according to him, these people will be distributed to operational military units.
However, he could not answer the question whether the final decision on the new mobilization has already been made and only noted:
“Our job is to prepare.”
On April 10, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy, speaking to journalists, stated that the blocking of Telegram in Russia may be related to the Kremlin’s readiness to make decisions that are unpopular with the public. This can mean both the end of the war and, on the contrary, its escalation and increased mobilization.
On April 19, Zelensky said that large-scale mobilization is necessary for Russia if it wants to repeat the attack on Ukraine or conduct a parallel offensive operation with smaller forces.
On May 27, after a meeting with the military leadership, the President of Ukraine stated that the aggressor Russia is preparing to further increase mobilization, which is why the service of summons has been activated.
On June 3, The Wall Street Journal reported that representatives of Russia’s political elite began publicly calling for an end to the war against Ukraine due to Moscow’s inability to break the deadlock. However, Putin himself shows no signs of changing his position yet.
