The Eastern Military District foiled, on Thursday morning, at its front and within its area of responsibility, an attempt to smuggle a quantity of narcotic substances loaded with electronically guided balloons.
It was monitored by Border Guard units, dealt with, and dropped along with its cargo inside Jordanian territory in coordination with the security services and the Narcotics Control Department. The seized items were transferred to the competent authorities to take the necessary measures.
