Police are investigating an attempted murder in rural Belize that left three men injured on Thursday night.
Around 7:55 p.m, officers were called to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH), where they found 24‑year‑old Alfredo Flores and 19‑year‑old Giovanni Gillette receiving treatment for gunshot wounds.
Investigators say Alfredo Flores, Edgar Flores, and Gillette were socializing with others in Lords Bank Village, Ladyville, when a man appeared outside the yard and opened fire on the group. All three were hit.
Edgar Flores sustained injuries but refused medical attention.
