The summer heat has already arrived, and experts warn that alcohol during high temperatures can put additional strain on the body and accelerate dehydration. Instead of classic cocktails, more and more people choose refreshing non-alcoholic versions that cool just as well, while being lighter and healthier. One of the most popular such drinks is the Virgin Mojito, a simple cocktail of mint, lime and sparkling water that you can prepare at home in just a few minutes.
Lime provides a dose of vitamin C, while mint gives a pleasant feeling of freshness and can aid digestion. With few calories and simple preparation, this non-alcoholic cocktail is a great alternative to classic summer drinks, especially carbonated juices and alcohol-based cocktails. Below is the recipe, and for an even more intense taste, add a few slices of cucumber or some freshly grated ginger. This way you will get a modern version of this popular summer cocktail
Virgin Mojito cocktail

200 ml of carbonated mineral water
2 teaspoons of brown sugar
1 lime
5 cucumber rings
10 leaves of fresh mint
ice as desired
sprig of mint for serving
a little fresh ginger, grated
Preparation
Place mint leaves, brown sugar, grated ginger and cucumber rings in a tall glass. Cut the lime into pieces, add it to the glass and gently press it with a spoon or a wooden pestle to release the juice and aromas. Add ice to the top of the glass, then pour in sparkling mineral water. Mix everything gently to combine the ingredients. Garnish with a sprig of mint and, if desired, a slice of lime or cucumber and serve immediately.
