According to the information of the Department of Villages, Reconstruction and Development of Nangarhar, this project has been implemented with the financial support of UNICEF at a cost of 5 million Afghanis.
This project includes a 50 cubic meter water reservoir, digging a well with a depth of 65 meters, installation of 11 solar panels, inverter and submersible pump and extension of pipes with a length of 5.3 kilometers.
According to the officials, with the completion of the project, 300 families and around 2000 students got access to clean drinking water and dozens of people were given employment during the implementation.
