Vladimir Gajić responded to Miroslav Aleksić’s claims that he was a source for “Jovanjica” – Politika

Vladimir Gajić, lawyer and president of the People’s Party, responded to Miroslav Aleksić, president and leader of the Serbian People’s Movement, to claims that he was once a source for publishing the “Jovanjica” affair. Let us recall that Gajić and Aleksić were previously together in the People’s Party, while its president was Vuk Jeremić.

Vladimir Gajić, in a post on the X network, asked why, after four years, Aleksić remembered to share the information with the public that he was his source for the publication. the Jovanjica affair, and he did not remember to “share the glory” when he was building a political image and running a campaign on that story. He also asked why Aleksić took his word for it.

    Gajic’s post reads:

“Miki “remembered” after 4 years that I was his source for the campaign he led regarding “Jovanjica”, on the basis of which, as a great fighter against the government, he built his image and popularity in the public and within the People’s Party. In order to make his justification and dusting of ashes more convincing, Miki claims that I convinced him that the brother of the President of the Republic was involved by referring to his source from the BIA. To make it even more convincing, Miki claims that after that I became friends with Vladimir Đukanović.

I wonder now, why, when he was bragging about his discoveries at that time, he didn’t refer to me as well, so that we could at least share his glory in public, but he kept everything to himself? How come he believed me that I have such contacts in the Word Service? He was really naive, and he rose in politics in coalition cooperation with the Serbian Progressive Party when he was the president of the municipality of Trstenik. At that time, the story of Jovanjica provided Miki with support from the American Embassy in order to take over the People’s Party. We know that.

Now I am informing him that the Jovanjica affair was planned by the same party because they do not tolerate competition in business. Mickey, it is clear today, served as a useful idiot to the interests of American business in connection with the cultivation of hemp. Now that that campaign has failed, Miki renounces his claims and defends himself cheaply, and how could he do otherwise. That path of oppositional struggle that Mickey promotes by leaning on those who “always” win is the reason we parted ways. I love Serbia because of Serbia, not because of myself. That is why I am against our opposition in Brussels, which hopes that some invisible hand will put them in power even if Serbia fails.”

Previously, Miroslav Aleksić was a guest on N1 where he told:

“The information that Koluvija called Andrej Vučić, I said that. N1 did not say that, nor did Nova S… That information was given to me by Vladimir Gajić, then, at that time, Vladimir Gajić told me that he had information from the BIA that it was established that Koluvija called Andrej Vučić when he was stopped, that it was 100% verified information… This is the first time I am saying this publicly, I have been silent until now. I received a lawsuit from Andrej Vucić and the whole story for that Jovanjice want to pretend that it didn’t happen,” said Aleksić in the show “Iza vesti”.

When asked by N1 why he is now presenting the information to the public, Aleksić replied: “now I am initiated listening to President Vučić lying and deceiving the citizens and saying ‘they lied about Jovanjica'”. “Nothing happens in this country without the approval of Aleksandar Vučić,” he added.

When asked by N1 whether this information is some kind of political revenge against Gajić, he says that it is not, and that he does not think that Gajić planted this information on him, because they were collaborators at the time.

The “Jovanjica” affair dates back to November 2019, when Aleksić first announced at the party’s press conferences that a hemp plantation, which can also be considered a marijuana plantation, had been discovered on the agricultural estate of the same name owned by Predrag Koluvija, who was arrested and later prosecuted. The police, led by Slobodan Milenkovic, found Koluvia’s official ID, and it was announced to the public, then denied, that the arrested person tried to call Andrej Vučić, the brother of Aleksandar Vučić. Vladimir Đukanović, SNS deputy, is Predrag Koluvija’s lawyer.
