On this occasion, the head of the center of the Great Islamic Encyclopaedia wrote a condolence note, which reads as follows:
God is not God and God is God’s refuge.
“The passing away of Iran’s prominent librarian, bibliographer and cataloger, Professor Hossein Baniadam, was a source of great regret and impact.
From the beginning of the establishment of the Center for the Great Islamic Encyclopedia until the mid-seventies, he was masterfully engaged in cataloging Arabic books in our library and managed that department, for which we owe him a lot.
I offer my condolences to his wife, other members of his family and the library community of Iran for the loss of this unique scientific personality, and I pray to the one and only God for peace of mind for that noble man and endless patience for the survivors.”
