Telecommunications provider Flow announced earlier that broadband services in Dominica had been restored following an outage that began late Sunday and extended into Monday.
In a Facebook update, the company stated that all telecommunications services had been fully restored to customers across the island, signaling an end to the connectivity disruptions experienced by its user base.
The restoration followed an earlier statement from Flow indicating that the outage was caused by a “suspected fault” that affected services in both Dominica and neighboring Saint Lucia. At the time, the company said technical teams had been deployed to identify and resolve the problem, describing the situation as a challenging one.
While the latest update indicated that the issue had been resolved, responses from some customers on social media suggested that not everyone had seen their services return.
Among those commenting on Flow’s Facebook post was one customer who expressed frustration over ongoing internet disruptions.
“Still no internet. Latest outage since Thursday. And service has been poor since February. You cannot be serious. In 2026 you have people without a basic utility for DAYS? Your company has been in the Caribbean since the 1870s – you don’t think you can do better?” the customer wrote.
Other users also reported lingering problems. One individual said they were still unable to make calls, while another stated that their service had never been restored and expressed disappointment with the situation.
Flow representatives responded directly to the complaints in the comments section, apologizing for the inconvenience and indicating that they would work with the affected customers individually to address their concerns and investigate the outstanding issues.
The reports suggest that while Flow has declared the outage resolved, some customers were still experiencing service-related challenges in certain areas as of earlier Monday afternoon.
