There have been developments regarding the Algerian international player Ismail Bennacer, related to the current summer transfer market.
Midfielder Bennacer (28 years old) is still wearing the uniform of the Italian club AC Milan until the summer of 2027, after he was loaned last season to the Croatian team Dinamo Zagreb.
Bin Nasser received offers and is in the process of studying them, says Italian Mercato expert Matteo Moretto. Without mentioning the names of the clubs wishing to benefit from the services of the Algerian international.
On the other hand, in its latest report, the Croatian newspaper Sportski Novosti reported that Dinamo Zagreb sporting director Zvonimir Boban is negotiating with his officials and also the Milan management in order to extend Bennacer’s stay.
It is noteworthy that the management of the “Rossonerie” club covered about 60% of Bennacer’s wages at Dinamo Zagreb.
Bennacer receives an annual salary of between 4 and 5 million euros, an amount that Dinamo Zagreb’s management cannot allocate, and Milan officials now want to pump new blood into the midfield, with the dismissal of a player who burdens the treasury and causes many injuries, like Bennacer.
According to the source, Boban views Bennacer as “a valuable talent due to his quality, international experience and ability to organize the midfield.” He was the one who brought him to Milan in the summer of 2019, when he was serving as sporting director of the Italian club.
