The General Organization for Social Security announced a new mechanism that allows expatriate workers in Jordan to disburse their insurance benefits (one-time compensation) upon permanently leaving the country without return, in implementation of the Cabinet’s decision to approve the legalization of the conditions of expatriate workers during the period from this June until the end of next September.
The Foundation explained in a statement on Monday that this mechanism aims to facilitate procedures for expatriate workers wishing to leave the Kingdom permanently, as they can now submit a request to disburse their dues electronically through the Foundation’s electronic services without the need to review the Ministry of Labor or obtain prior approvals.
It indicated that submitting the application is available to expatriate workers inside the Kingdom during the situation correction period, indicating that for this purpose it has created a new disbursement reason within the reasons for disbursing one-time compensation on its electronic services under the name (permanently leaving the country without returning). It has also provided on its website within the corner of the electronic library (forms and requests) the form for transferring one-time compensation entitlements outside the Kingdom.
The Corporation also called on expatriate workers who submit disbursement requests to follow the text messages that will arrive on their cell phones to complete the procedures for disbursing dues and transferring them outside the Kingdom after leaving the Kingdom permanently.
