On Monday, the consultative meeting of foreign ministers of Arab countries began, which was held at the invitation of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs, Ayman Safadi, in Amman.
The meeting aims to coordinate positions and exchange views on the issues raised, thus contributing to strengthening joint Arab action and supporting efforts aimed at confronting the current regional challenges.
Jordan will also host, after the consultative meeting, a meeting of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level in its resumed 165th regular session.
The meeting is scheduled to discuss a number of issues of common interest, political and security developments taking place in the region, as well as topics on the Council’s agenda.
The resumed session comes as a continuation of the work of the 165th regular session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level, which was held on March 29, 2026 under the presidency of Bahrain via video communication technology.
