A heat wave is brewing in many places in Europe and, for example, temperatures of up to 30 degrees are predicted in Denmark on Friday and Saturday.
The weather is very hot in the south-western part of Europe, where the temperature could reach up to 35 degrees in the next few days and even up to 38 degrees in France, Spain, Italy and Germany, but very warm air from North Africa is causing these high temperatures.
Britain is unlikely to escape the heat entirely. Forecasters suggest isolated warm air currents could move north from the mainland on Thursday and Friday, pushing temperatures up to 25-29 degrees in southern and eastern England.
