How to proceed to the elimination fights and how to the elimination?
The group part will take place from June 11 to 27. The national teams were divided into twelve groups with four teams each (groups A to L). After the group stage, the top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stages, along with the eight best third-placed teams from all groups.

If several teams in a group have the same number of points, the order is first determined by head-to-head matches between these teams: whoever has won more points, has a better goal difference and has scored more goals.
If the teams are still tied, these criteria are re-applied only to the teams still tied. If that doesn’t decide either, the criteria from all the matches in the group follow: better overall goal difference and more goals scored.
Then the scale for fair play is taken into account, where points are deducted for cards: yellow card -1, second yellow or suspension -3, direct red card -4, direct red card -5.
If there is no difference even after this, the higher ranked team is the one that is better placed in the latest Fifa rankings. If necessary, even older FIFA rankings are then taken into account until the teams can be ranked.
The playoffs will open on June 28 with the first match of the round of 16. The final will take place on July 19 (22) at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
