A new system of training qualified personnel for the tax sector is being introduced in Uzbekistan. In accordance with the relevant decision of the President, the Higher School of Taxation under the Tax Committee will establish bachelor’s, master’s and post-higher education levels.
Presidential Decree “On measures to introduce a new system of training qualified personnel in the tax field” (PQ-227, June 16, 2026) was accepted.
It was reported that based on the President’s Decree No. PF-95 dated May 19, 2026, the Higher School of Taxation was established under the Tax Committee. It also includes the Center for Qualification and Competence Development and the Tax Research Center.
According to the decision, starting from the 2026-2027 academic year, students will be admitted to undergraduate courses with a minimum of three years of study at the Higher School of Taxation. From the academic year 2027-2028, the stages of education after master’s degree and higher education will be introduced.
The higher school prepares specialists in such areas as taxes and taxation, digital tax administration, tax law and financial control.
Graduates will receive a state model diploma as well as a certificate of completion of the necessary training courses to obtain tax consultant and auditor qualification certificates.
Also, the tuition fees of students who have obtained certificates of international organizations in the field of accounting and auditing, such as ACCA, DipIFR, CAP/CIPA, CIA and ACA, will be covered by the Higher School of Taxation.
