Bürgenstock Resort (Switzerland) – Qena:
His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, met yesterday at the Bürgenstock Resort in Switzerland, with His Excellency Mr. Ignacio Cassis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation.
During the meeting, they reviewed the cooperation relations between the two countries and ways to support and enhance them, and discussed the latest regional developments, especially the diplomatic efforts made to enhance security and stability in the region, after the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meeting, His Excellency the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed the State of Qatar’s full support for starting negotiations between the American and Iranian sides, to reach sustainable solutions to the outstanding issues through dialogue and peaceful means, in a way that enhances regional security, contributes to opening new horizons for cooperation, development and prosperity, and achieves the common interests of the peoples of the region and the world.
