On June 16-26, the international exercises “Gallant Boar 2026” will take place in the strategically important zone near the Suval corridor, during which Lithuanian fighters will train together with the military forces of Poland and France.

The main task of the international exercises “Gallant Boar 2026” is to conduct joint military operations and coordinate actions between allied forces.
During the exercises, considerable attention will be paid to increasing the countries’ combat readiness. It will also improve the skills needed to ensure rapid and effective protection of this geographically vital stretch.
It will be recalled that on June 10 it became known that the new German tank brigade in Lithuania is holding its own first combat training in this Baltic country.
In late May, it was reported that Italy was sending about 100 soldiers and several fighter jets to Romania as part of a mission to training of the Romanian troops countering threats from Russia.
