During the 19th protest in Tirana, an activist called on the deputies of the Socialist Party and the Democratic Party to join the protesters against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama.
In his speech before the gathered citizens, he also mentioned the decision of the socialist deputy, Marjana Koceku, to leave the parliamentary group of the SP, describing it as an example to be followed.
“We invite all the MPs of the SP and DP to join us, to follow the example of Marjana Koček, to call to their conscience and not stay on the dark side of history”. said the activist.
He also cited the position of the European Parliament, which called for a moratorium on all new permits and construction works within protected areas.
“The European Parliament gave the right to us, the so-called Torollak protesters, from this Torollak prime minister”, he said.
Addressing Prime Minister Edi Rama, the activist repeated the main demand of the protest: “Edi Rama, leave because we don’t leave.”
Activist: The European Parliament gave the right to us, the so-called Torollak protesters, from this Torollak prime minister. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the participants here and those who have a heart’s desire and will come these days, because they have become part of history. Of the right side of Albania’s history.
We invite all SP and PD MPs to join us, to follow the example of Marjana Koček, to call to conscience, not to stay on the dark side of history, because we are a guarantee that history will change. Edi Rama, leave because we don’t leave.
