The municipality of Niederanven has set itself ambitious goals: private households should be climate-neutral by 2030 and all local government buildings by 2040. The same should be achieved throughout the municipality by 2050. A new carport covered with solar cells near the “Maison relais Am Sand” in Oberanven is intended to contribute to this. This was inaugurated on Monday in the presence of Prime Minister Luc Frieden (CSV).
