Catalyst: This major event in the textile-clothing sector aims to accelerate the upscaling of Moroccan industry, by promoting synergies, innovation and productive investment.
Home stretch for Morocco Stitch & Tex. The 19th edition of this meeting dedicated to actors involved in the transformation and upscaling of the national textile industry will be held in Casablanca from June 23 to 25.
The ambition this year is to promote synergies, stimulate productive investment and support the adoption of innovations that shape the future of the sector. “A historic pillar of the Moroccan economy, the textile and clothing sector today represents more than 1,600 companies and nearly 200,000 jobs, contributing significantly to the Kingdom’s exports, particularly to European markets,” indicate the organizers. And to specify: “This dynamic opens up new prospects for growth, while highlighting a major strategic issue: the strengthening of local industrial integration.”
Supported by Deals Fairs, Global Fairs & Events and Vision Fairs, Morocco Stitch & Tex 2026 is part of a dynamic aimed at supporting the industrial development of the Kingdom and strengthening its attractiveness as a regional platform for production, innovation and investment. “Despite the remarkable performances recorded by the sector, several key segments remain highly dependent on imports, particularly in terms of yarns, fabrics, technical textiles as well as industrial machinery and equipment,” observe the organizers. And to specify: “The acceleration of the development of upstream textiles thus appears to be an essential lever to strengthen the industrial sovereignty of the Kingdom, increase local added value and consolidate the competitiveness of Made in Morocco”.
Beyond its commercial dimension, Morocco Stitch & Tex aims to be a catalyst for growth serving a shared ambition: to create a more integrated, more resilient Moroccan textile industry that creates more value for the national economy. In this context, the show intends to fully play its role as a connection platform between international technological offerings and the needs of national industry. The show will offer professionals the opportunity to discover the latest advances in the sector, identify new partners and explore innovative solutions capable of supporting the modernization of their production tools.
Organized in parallel with Morocco Print Expo, this edition will welcome more than 120 exhibitors from eight countries and is expected to attract more than 5,000 professional visitors, thus confirming its status as a regional crossroads for trade, innovation and industrial development.
