Jørse Sørensenmusician, singer and producer, is current with a new EP called “Qaamaneq” (The light).
The EP, which is named after Kuupik Kleist’s poem “Qaamaneq”, has been composed by Jokum Nielsen and Jôrse Sørensen.
The number also features the late Majbritt Beck on vocals and the late Hans Jørgen “Hasju” Damgaard on bass.
– This gives the song a special meaning and a reminder that music and words can live on, says a press release.
Recorded and mixed at Studios and Aqisseq, released by Ulo Music and distributed through Atlantic Music, “Qaamaneq” contains three tracks, two of which have lyrics, while one is a purely instrumental piece.
