The Dominica Cancer Society (DCS) will hold its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at the UWI Open Campus Dominica on Elmshall Road in Roseau. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:00 AM.
According to a press release from the Society, the AGM will provide an important forum for both current and prospective members to review the organisation’s activities and accomplishments over the past year, while also discussing plans and priorities for the future.
The meeting will give members an opportunity to participate in the governance of the Society and contribute to shaping its direction moving forward.
The release noted that reports on the Society’s programmes, financial performance, and ongoing efforts to support cancer patients and their families throughout Dominica will be presented during the session. Members will also engage in discussions on the organisation’s strategic objectives and key areas of focus for the coming year.
The Dominica Cancer Society says it continues to pursue its mission of increasing awareness about cancer, advocating for prevention and early detection, supporting those affected by the disease, and improving the quality of life of patients and their families. The organisation has encouraged all members to attend and participate in the meeting.
