His Excellency Counselor Turki bin Abdul Mohsen Al Sheikh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and President of the Saudi Boxing Federation, announced the launch of tickets for the upcoming “The Comeback” fight between Britain’s Anthony Joshua and Albanian Christian Bringa, which is scheduled to be held next July 25 in the “Jeddah Superdome” as part of the Jeddah calendar activities and in cooperation with the Riyadh Season.
The fight, whose tickets can be purchased through the “WeBook” application, has received wide media and public attention since its announcement, as it is one of the most prominent heavyweight confrontations expected this year, as it will be broadcast live to various parts of the world via the DAZN platform.
British Anthony Joshua leads the event card, based on a busy career that made him one of the most prominent heavyweight stars in the world, as he has a record of 28 victories against 4 defeats, including 25 wins by knockout. He is the former unified world heavyweight champion twice. He also won the gold medal in the 2012 London Olympics, and achieved notable victories over a number of the most prominent names in the world of boxing.
On the other hand, Albanian Christian Bringa enters the confrontation with a strong record that includes 20 victories, all by knockout, against only one defeat, in a professional career that began in 2016, as he is undergoing the biggest test in his career so far and his first appearance in a major global event of this size.
The first press conference for the fight was held in the British capital, London, at the beginning of this month, and witnessed the first direct media confrontation between the boxers since the announcement of the event, amid a wide media presence and great anticipation from boxing fans around the world.
