Five people from one family died today as a result of the sudden demolition of their house in Al-Jumaimah District, Hajjah Governorate.
The local secretary of Al-Jumaimah District, Abdul Rahman Al-Muhammadi, explained that the sudden collapse of the house in Al-Khatwa isolation at seven in the evening, resulted in the death of the citizen Majida Ahmed Mastoul, 35 years old, and four children, Ahmed Abdo Mastoul, 6 years old, Mortada Abdo Mastoul, 4 years old, Rayhana Abdo Mastoul, 2 years old, and Salah Ali Mastoul, 8 years old.
He pointed out that the families and concerned authorities rushed immediately after the incident occurred to retrieve the bodies of the victims from under the rubble and transport them to the health center in Al-Ijala, expressing sincere condolences and sympathy to the family of the victims in this case.
Al-Mohammadi called on the relevant authorities and humanitarian organizations to quickly intervene and provide the necessary relief and emergency assistance to the victims’ families to alleviate their suffering as a result of the unfortunate incident.
