The actual revenues of the 2025 budget of Yerevan amounted to 148 billion 517 million drams, actual 100.5 percent according to performance, from which own revenues were collected in the amount of 96 billion 596 million drams or about 9 percent overperformance. The actual collection of own revenues is 25 billion 396 drams higher than the actual figure of 2024.
Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan presented the programs and financial indicators implemented in the capital during the reporting year at the joint session of the NA Standing Committees on Territorial Administration, Local Self-Government, Agriculture and Environmental Protection and Financial Credit and Budgetary Issues held on June 12.
According to the 2025 budget, 147 billion 825 million drams worth of work was done, which was 95 percent of what was planned by the expenditure articles. Numerous and diverse works were carried out. In particular, 4 billion drams worth of works related to road infrastructure were carried out: average repair, pothole repair.
As part of the reform of the transport system, 30% of the advance payment for 45 new trolleybuses was given, the remaining amount was given in the current year.
“We no longer have many old vehicles in Yerevan. We have replaced all the old Gazelles, bought 749 new buses, 75 new trolleybuses,” said the mayor. Yerevan Municipality also subsidized transport companies.
3 billion drams were used for the modernization of the metro infrastructure.
In 2025, the design phase of the Metro “Ajapnyak” station was completed. Work on this issue is ongoing.
About 13.7 billion drams were allocated to the field of environmental protection, 6.3 billion drams were allocated for the implementation of garbage collection and sanitary cleaning services, including dial cleaning.
Other defined programs and events were carried out.
