MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) – Approximately 470 freight vehicles and 280 passenger cars are waiting to enter Poland and Lithuania, the State Border Committee told BelTA.
At the Polish border crossings Bobrowniki (Berestovitsa on the Belarusian side) and Kukuryki (Kozlovichi), 350 trucks are recorded. Over the past 24 hours, the control services at these checkpoints processed 36% of the transport volume relative to the norm.
A total of 120 freight vehicles are waiting to enter Lithuania via the crossings Šalčininkai (Benyakoni on the Belarusian side) and Medininkai (Kamenny Log).
As of 10:00 AM, passenger car counts stood at 160 on the Polish direction and 120 on the Lithuanian direction.
Over the past 24 hours, the staff at the adjacent Polish border crossings processed 29% of the transport volume, while the Lithuanian side processed 51%.
