Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Speaker of the Shura Council, praised the sincere national efforts made by the brave men of the Bahrain Defense Force, the National Guard and the Ministry of Interior, in confronting the sinful Iranian attacks, defending the nation’s security and stability, protecting citizens and residents, and preserving the national gains and development achievements witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain under the wise leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the great King of the country, and the support And support from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Speaker of the Shura Council expressed condemnation, denunciation and complete rejection of the sinful Iranian attacks targeting the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s adherence to the approach of peace and the values and principles of good neighborliness and coexistence, based on the national constants and what the Kingdom of Bahrain has been known for throughout history as a civilized model of peace and harmony and the continuous call for dialogue and building fraternal and friendly relations based on Mutual respect.
This came during the participation of the Speaker of the Shura Council, yesterday morning (Saturday), in the launch of the Bahrain Forum for Media and Volunteering, which is organized by the Bahrain Society for Voluntary Work during the period from 13 to 15 June under the title “Towards Conscious Media and Sustainable Giving.”
The Speaker of the Shura Council participated in signing the document of loyalty and support for His Majesty the King, and honoring the men of the first ranks of the nation’s protectors, in appreciation of their honorable national efforts while confronting the sinful Iranian attacks on the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The Speaker of the Shura Council reviewed the exhibition of old photos by the artist Ibrahim Baddo, praising the exhibition’s historical and documentary images of the wise leadership.
The Speaker of the Shura Council praised the efforts of the Bahrain Volunteer Work Society and its continued keenness to organize and hold events, conferences and activities that enhance community awareness and contribute to research and discussion of various topics, praising the Society’s interest in organizing a forum on volunteering and media, especially in light of the progress and development witnessed in the field of media and journalism.
The Speaker of the Shura Council pointed out that volunteering is one of the noble societal values, in which the highest meanings of humanity, cooperation and solidarity among all members of society are evident. He expressed his aspiration that the outcomes of the Bahrain Media and Volunteering Forum will contribute to enhancing the concept of volunteering and its human and social dimensions, in addition to strengthening the role of the national media and the responsibilities undertaken by media professionals and media institutions in highlighting the progress and comprehensive development renaissance witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain.
