The Italian Mercedes driver Andrea Kimi Antonelli won pole position before the Monaco Grand Prix in Formula 1 today, June 6.
The leader in the championship reached the “half” at the very finish, ahead of Dutchman Max Verstappen from Red Bull. Local driver Charles Leclerc from Ferrari “hit the wall” towards the end of practice, as the leader, damaged the car and finished fourth.
British clubmate Luis Hamilton placed ahead of him, and Red Bull driver Isak Hažar will start in fifth place. Sixth was George Russell from Mercedes, followed by the McLaren tandem Oskar Pjastri – Lando Norris.
The race for the Monaco Grand Prix takes place on Sunday from 3 p.m.
