The first night of the World Cup showed that Bosnia and Herzegovina lives for the national team and that the interest in Dragons’ matches does not stop growing. This is precisely why the organizers expect an even greater number of visitors at the next meetings of the national team. Portal Oslobodjenje.ba and Sarajevo will be with the fans during the remaining 37 days of the World Cup, bringing the atmosphere from the fan zone, the most interesting stories and everything that makes the World Cup special.
Everyone is invited to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the official fan zones every evening, and especially next Thursday, June 18, when our Dragons will compete against Switzerland at 9:00 p.m. our time. This game will be played in Los Angeles, and judging by what we saw against Canada, we are in for another memorable night filled with emotions, song and togetherness that only the Dragons can awaken among the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After the California spectacle, we close the group stage against Qatar, which is scheduled for June 24, and the host will be Seattle.
The organizers of Oslobodjenje.ba and Sarajevo would like to thank the sponsors: Lejla Voda, Coca-Cola, BH Telecom, NLB Bank, EOS BiH, Farmavita, Antique Badel, Brazil Coffee, Patos, Čoka Wines, Grand Coffee and Sinmax Furniture, as well as media partners: PIK by OLX, RSG Radio, Antena Sarajevo, Radio Mix, Oslobođenje, O Kanal and Kalman Radio.
Special thanks were given to the partners and institutions that supported the implementation of this project, namely: the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, the City of Zenica, the Public Company for the Management and Maintenance of Sports Facilities in Zenica, and the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
And at the end, the organizers, Oslobodjenje.ba and Sarajevsko, sent the biggest thank you to the citizens and fans, without whom nothing would be possible.
– Thank you for choosing our fan zone, the only official one, to spend an unforgettable night. More of these are waiting for us, be with us again and with us, as we are with you and, of course, with our Dragons. Let’s support our golden boys, they said.
Entrance is free, reservations are not required, but the organizers advise you to arrive on time (fan zones are open from 4 p.m.), in order to ensure your place in time.
