Ulaanbaatar,
April 7, 2026 /MONTSAME/. With
the support of the Ministry of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth, the “HORECA
Mongolia Conference & Festival 2026” will be held for the eighth
consecutive year at the Misheel Expo Center on April 11, 2026.
The
Government of Mongolia has identified tourism as one of the country’s priority
economic sectors and is working to improve service quality and standards across
the industry.
This
year’s event stands out with its theme, “Gastro Nomad: Taste & Story,”
highlighting the culinary heritage of nomadic culture and its historical
narratives. It also aligns with the Ministry’s policy objectives to develop
cultural tourism, promote Mongolia’s traditional cuisine internationally, and
enhance the professional skills of young people working in the hospitality
sector.
The
event will consist of three main components:
“Gastro Nomad” Festival: Featuring professional competitions
among chefs and bartenders, along with various masterclasses and special
performances promoting both national and international culinary traditions.
“HORECA Conference”: Bringing together distinguished
speakers from 8–10 countries to discuss global trends, new standards, and
innovations in the hospitality and tourism sectors.
“HORECA Hub Zone” Exhibition: Showcasing suppliers’ products and
services, while providing opportunities for B2B networking, partnership
expansion, and investment attraction.
