Fans of the world’s most important side event are eagerly awaiting the World Cup, which starts on Thursday.
As with any major competition, predictions are already being made as to which team will rise to the world throne.
Artificial intelligence predicted that in the final Mundial Germany and Argentina will play and that the Argentinians will end up winning with a score of 2:1, according to a Euronews journalist’s research.
Juronuz in German, it says that the journalists are well acquainted with the schedule of matches, FIFA’s drawing method, the rules on the relegation of the third-placed selections in the group stage and with all 495 possible combinations in the knockout rounds.
All that data, as well as assessments of the strength of national teams and detailed simulations of all matches, were entered into artificial intelligence Claude, of the company Antropik. The journalists went a step further and entered enough data for the AI to name the five most successful teams.
The answer was that Germany and Argentina will play in the final and that the Argentines will take the title with a 2:1 victory. As the best teams, AI listed Argentina, France, Spain, Brazil and Portugal in the following order.
And based on 500 different simulations, the AI gave the Spanish-speaking teams the following chances – Argentina: 18.6 percent to win the title, 31 percent to play in the final.
Spain has an 11.8 percent chance to become the champion, and 19.8 percent looks to play in the final, and Uruguay has a 2.0 percent chance to become the champion, compared to 4.0 percent to enter the final.
AI estimated the chances of Mexico and Colombia to win the championship at 1.6 and 1.0 percent, respectively, and the chances of playing in the deciding game at 3.4 and 4.2 percent, respectively.
AI did not give Ecuador, Paraguay and Panama any chance to become world champions.
