Innovation : The Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region is planning the creation of a new Technopark intended to accommodate startups, SMEs and large companies. This project will include offices, coworking spaces, a 225-seat amphitheater, training rooms, shops and a cafeteria. Designed as a complete ecosystem dedicated to innovation and entrepreneurship, it aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Moroccan businesses and support regional economic development.
The Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region will have a new Technopark. To do this, the region’s Regional Execution Agency has just launched the study to carry out this project intended to welcome startups, SMEs and large companies. Located in Salé, this project aims to create a complete ecosystem dedicated to innovation and economic development, designed for startups and entrepreneurs. At the heart of the project is a reception and management services space, totaling nearly 1,990 m². This first center was designed to offer project leaders a professional environment as soon as they enter the building. There is a 50 m² reception hall, administrative offices dedicated to management, the secretariat and managers, as well as a coordination space specifically reserved for startups.
There was a clear emphasis on community life and networking. In this sense, a 225-seat amphitheater, a sound room and recording studio, as well as a 200 m² coworking space complete an offer designed to stimulate exchanges and creativity. Without forgetting the 300 m² of individual offices distributed for young companies in the launch phase. The second major part of the project, covering 1,068 m², is entirely dedicated to the workspaces of the hosted companies. Two ranges of offices are offered, namely 28 m² units for first category SMEs, of which there are 25, and 36 m² offices for 20 mid-sized companies, generating respectively 490 m² and 720 m² of professional space. For larger structures, two large platforms of 100m² each are planned, to which are added two modular training rooms of 60m², which can accommodate up to 25 people each. An additional 200 m² coworking space further strengthens the site’s collaborative offering.
Accessibility and inclusion have not been forgotten: the toilets, for both women and men, include cabins adapted for people with reduced mobility. Furthermore, the project is not limited to workspaces alone. A 150 m² commercial and services area energizes the ground floor area, with two types of businesses and a 100 m² cafeteria, thus transforming the site into a real living space. In parallel with the built space, the designers paid particular attention to the exterior spaces, estimated at more than 2,015 m². It has an outdoor car park with 800 spaces, green spaces and landscaped paths of 700 m², an enclosure wall and a guardhouse complete the system. This project, intended for entrepreneurial support, is part of the national dynamic of supporting innovation and the competitiveness of Moroccan companies.
