Iran’s Foreign Ministry has strongly condemned the “illegal and criminal strikes” carried out by the US, saying that they have rendered the ceasefire practically meaningless. As reported “Armenpress”Al Jazeera reports about this.
“The illegal and criminal attacks carried out by the United States in recent hours not only violate the UN Charter and the fundamental principles of international law, but also undermine respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of states, making the ceasefire of April 8, 2026 meaningless,” the ministry said in a statement.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed that the Iranian side will work to “neutralize the sources and causes of aggressive attacks against Iran”.
Official Tehran has called on all UN member states to condemn the violations of the UN Charter, warning that “silence and inaction towards the actions of the US and the Zionist regime will bring the world into greater instability and chaos.”
