Portuguese coach Jose Mourinho officially became the new strategist of the Kings today.
Real’s board of directors held a meeting and confirmed what was already known, the Special One is returning to the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Portuguese signed a contract for the next three seasons, until June 30, 2029.
Mourinho will start work on July 13, the day the pre-season starts.
The job was made official today, although it was clear before that Mourinho would lead the Kings. The Portuguese is the choice of the club’s first man Florentino Perez, and the arrival of the Special One depended only on the outcome of the club’s elections. When it became clear that Perez would remain at the helm of Real, there was no doubt, Mourinho returned to Madrid.
