In order to support promising startups in the field of artificial intelligence, the “President AI Award” contest for the President’s Prize will be held in Uzbekistan. Winners will receive cash prizes, investment opportunities, and additional support for international markets.
The Cabinet of Ministers has announced the procedure for organizing the “President AI Award” competition for the President’s Award of the Republic of Uzbekistan. confirmed.
According to the decision, the competition is aimed at supporting innovative ideas and startups based on artificial intelligence technologies in the country, implementing technological solutions and encouraging talented young people in the field.
The competition covers areas such as application of artificial intelligence technologies, creation of digital products and services, development of innovative solutions for public administration, education, healthcare, finance, industry, logistics and other priority areas.
According to the established order, the winning teams will be awarded the following amounts:

1st place – 100 thousand US dollars;

2nd place – 60 thousand US dollars;

For the 3rd place – 40 thousand US dollars.
Also, the winners of the competition will have the opportunity to attract investment for the development of their projects. Venture funds and private investors are expected to participate in project financing.
The competition is organized in several stages. During the selection process, the technological novelty, economic efficiency, market potential and practical importance of the projects are assessed by experts.
By the decision of the government, it was decided to hold this competition annually, to ensure its transparency and openness, and to implement additional measures to develop the national startup ecosystem in the field of artificial intelligence.
