Sunday afternoon a demonstration was held in the square in front of the Sándor Palace those who do not agree with the fact that Péter Magyar has repeatedly called for the resignation of the President of the Republic Tamás Sulyok, as well as the heads of state institutions whom Magyar calls the pillars of the Orbán regime.
After the demonstration the prime minister posted about itthat they promised to unite the nation and are on the right track. “Today, Fidesz’s hate propaganda was able to mobilize only 400 people. Millions of Hungarians in favor of the regime change versus 400 people watching tourists and the puppets of the mafia,” he wrote and then sent a message to Tamás Sulyok:
“Mr. President, you know it’s over. It’s still not too late to leave.”
Magyar recalled that the last time they demonstrated at the Sándor Palace in December was because of the destruction of thousands of abandoned children. “At that time, we had a hundred thousand compatriots out in the cold with us, demanding that you protect the children and apologize to the victims. I have already done this on behalf of the Hungarian government, you are still in debt. With this too,” wrote the Prime Minister, who concluded his post by saying: “Fear of position versus the unity of the Hungarian nation. Let’s choose!”
Speakers at the event full of Tissian references said, among other things, that
- The Hungarians “pushed” the president of the republic,
- a statesman does not clown around, does not sell his nation,
- the prime minister dictates the pace of a Latin American dictator,
- Bálint Ruff, Gyurcsány’s small-time pribék, as AVH minister, organizes death lists like a fustered commissar,
- brick by brick, word by word, sentence by sentence, they take back control,
- Róbert Puzsér, who was mentioned as a positive example, was sneered at several times, and then
together they sang the Székely national anthem and the folk song Spring Wind, which became the Tisza national anthem. About the demonstration you can read in detail in this article.
