Speeches, cultural activities and entertainment are planned when Nuuk Pride 2026 kicks off on Saturday 13 June with the theme “Pride for All”.
On June 13, Nuuk Pride 2026 will be held with a number of cultural activities and entertainment features.
Nuuk Pride 2026 is organized in collaboration with Sipineq+ and has the theme “Pride for All”.
In a press release, Sipineq+ states that the event is open to everyone – regardless of gender, gender identity, age or social status.
Program
The arrangement “Pride for All” begins at 2 p.m. at Killuut/Brewhouse Greenland on Imaneq 30.
Before the procession there will be music, face painting and the opportunity to make signs.
At 2.40 pm, the mayor of Kommuneqarfik Sermersooq, Avaaraq Olsen (IA), will give a speech together with naalakkersuisoq for Children, Youth, Justice and Equality, Mariane Paviasen Jensen (IA).

After the procession, the celebration continues outside Killuut/Brewhouse Greenland with a concert by Ivaana Kristiansen Olsen and a drag show with guests from Iceland.
Later in the evening, Nuuk Pride 2026 will hold the event in collaboration with Killuut “Pride Night”where the audience can experience entertainment from the Homo team and a concert with Naja P.
The organizers also state that Matu Security will be present during the event to ensure the safety and security of the participants.
Other arrangements
During the week, several events are held in connection with Nuuk Pride.
On Tuesday, June 9 and Wednesday, June 10, Arnanguak Skifte Lynge organizes beading at NAPA’s office from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
On Thursday, a Pride quiz will be held at the Brewhouse.
On Friday 12 June from 16:00 to 18:00, NAPA, NIKK (Nordic Information on Gender) and Jon Gnarr from Iceland will hold a lecture on application processes and funding opportunities through the Nordic Council’s funds at NAPA’s office.
In addition, those interested are encouraged to follow the Facebook page Sipineq+, where updates about the events will be shared on an ongoing basis.
