The largest international flower market opens its doors to Armenian flower producers, thus connecting Armenian flower producers with European and non-European buyers.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands wrote that his country supports the support package planned by the European Union for Armenia, which was announced earlier by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.
“We studied how we can practically support the affected sectors, such as the production of Armenian flowers. As a result, Royal Flora Holland (ed. Royal Flora Holland is the largest international floriculture market) is now opening its market to Armenian flower producers, connecting them with buyers in Europe and beyond,” wrote the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands.
He also referred to the ongoing parliamentary elections in Armenia, stressing that the Netherlands emphasizes the importance of free and fair elections as the basis of a stable, democratic future, a future that Armenia decides for itself.
Let’s remind that Russia has banned the import of Armenian flowers. In addition to flowers, Russia applied restrictions on other products of Armenian production before the parliamentary elections in Armenia. In particular, the import of “Jermuk” mineral waters, fish products, some alcoholic beverages was prohibited, and restrictions were applied to the import of Armenian fruits and vegetables. In that context, the European Union announced a support package for Armenia, which includes immediate support of more than 50 million euros, as well as additional measures aimed at expanding the opportunities for exporting Armenian products and facilitating trade.
