The Samoa Police, Prisons & Corrections Services have issued an appeal to the public for assistance in locating 17 year old Asenati Ta’ale. She is from Gagaifo Lefaga, Tiavea and Vaimoso.
Asenati has been missing since Wednesday 15th April 2026.
She was last seen at her family home in Vaimoso, around 9.00am on Wednesday 15th April.
As is the case with many missing person alerts issued by Samoa Police, there is no reference as to whether the teenagers have run away from home.
With the prevalence of abuse and family violence in Samoa – Police have never before said if they are linking missing children to physical, sexual or emotional abuse in the homes.
The Police urge anyone with information as to Asenati’s whereabouts to please make contact.
“If anyone has any information regarding Asenati’s whereabouts, please contact a nearby Police Station or call 8422222 / 22222.”
