Through the Transmission of Preliminary Electoral Results (TREP) system, the Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE) announced the candidates elected in the internal municipal elections this Sunday. In the case of the ANR, these are the winners.
This Sunday the elections were held municipal internal in the country and as in every election, the TREP, a system of Electoral Justice, provides the results “unofficial” of who the chosen ones are.
The day focused mainly on the two main parties in the country: the National Republican Associationa (ANR) and the Authentic Radical Liberal Party (PLRA).
These parties defined their candidates for the municipal elections on October 4, 2026. In the capital, Asunción, the Chartist Camilo Perez prevailed over the senator’s candidacy Arnaldo Samaniego.
Likewise, for the Superior Court of Electoral Justice (TSJE), the elections were declared as a “mission accomplished”since the incidents were not serious, while regarding participation they detailed that it is always lower than in the general ones.
