On June 3, 2026, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé handed over the “Ayiti nan Mondyal” audiovisual kits to local authorities. This initiative, carried out as part of the Support Program for local authorities for the 2026 World Cup, aims to allow the populations of the 571 municipal sections and 147 communes to follow the matches of the Haitian selection, according to a press release from the Prime Minister’s Office. The kits include televisions, generators, internet connection and fuel. Sixteen public squares across the country will also be equipped with giant screens to broadcast tournament matches, the note said.
