by Debora Donnini In an atmosphere of great joy, yesterday evening, Tuesday 2 June, in the garden of the Redemptoris Mater Seminary in Madrid, around 650 people participated in the closing act of the diocesan phase of the cause of beatification and canonization of the servant of God Carmen Hernández, co-initiator of the Neocatechumenal Way with Kiko Argüello. Behind them, his tomb, surrounded by stained glass windows where many, before the start and after, knelt as a sign of prayer and thanks to the Lord. Almost 10 years after his death on 19 July 2016, the diocesan phase of the case, which began on 4 December 2022, is coming to an end.
