The number of confirmed cases of Ebola virus infection in the Democratic Republic of Congo has exceeded 450.
“Armenpress”this was reported by the National Institute of Public Health of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, according to which 452 cases were confirmed, 82 of which resulted in death.
The Congolese authorities also warned about the rapid and continuous spread of the infection in the country.
The epicenter of the disease was Ituri province in the east of the country. It then spread to neighboring North and South Kivu states, as well as Uganda, where 19 cases have been reported so far, including two deaths.
