“In the NSD program it is written – the fight for the equality of the Serbian people in Montenegro, no less and no more than that in relation to other peoples,” reminded Vučurović.
It is not good, he says, for someone, after the changes in Montenegro, to spread “lies and subterfuges” in order, according to Vučurović, to implement the policy that Serbs should continue to be second-class citizens.
“And it is not surprising that the representatives of such a policy have long been recognized opponents of our people in Montenegro, but there are also some who are bothered by the policy of the NSD, which rejects conflicts and calls for reconciliation in Montenegro and which wants the representatives of the Serbian people to be in decision-making positions and not to be decided by our opponents, as before August 30. There are many who would really like to return us to the positions when we were persecuted and discriminated against and when the percentage of Serbs among employees in the state administration was below five percent, but those times have passed. We also know that Milo Đukanović, Milan Roćen and the like are angry, since they still do not understand that the Serbs are part of the government, because together with the mafia they did everything to prevent it from happening,” Vučurović said.
But, he says, the Serbian people, thanks to Andrija Mandić and NSD, as well as other comrades, fought for the position to be in decision-making places. “And not to be oppressed and to torture Serbs again and to experience various extremes,” said Vučurović.
The Serbian people, he says, raised their heads.
“Montenegro is our country, as it has always been, and the NSD and Andrija Mandić will be a barrier to all those who would like to return us to the margins. The Serbian people today are emitting a strength that they have not had since before the Second World War, because we have been second-class citizens from 1945 until today. And as for some other important issues for the Serbian people and their identity, everyone will be convinced that the NSD will achieve what the Serbian people want through the agreement,” concluded Vučurović.
