Kuwait Fire Force Handles Three Incidents, Including Two Fires Caused by Falling Missile Debris

Official spokesman Brigadier General Mohammed Al-Gharib said the incidents included two fires caused by falling shrapnel, as well as a separate operation involving site security and readiness measures carried out in coordination with relevant authorities.

The General Fire Force confirmed that specialized teams were immediately dispatched to deal with the incidents and secure affected areas in accordance with emergency response procedures.

Brigadier General Mohammed Badr urged citizens and residents not to approach, handle, or attempt to extinguish fires or objects suspected to have been caused by falling debris. He stressed the importance of immediately reporting such incidents through the emergency hotline (112) to ensure public safety and allow specialized teams to respond appropriately.

He also called on the public to strictly follow instructions issued by official authorities and avoid tampering with locations where debris has fallen, emphasizing that trained personnel are best equipped to manage such situations safely.

The statement comes amid heightened regional tensions following missile and drone activity over the Gulf region, prompting increased vigilance by Kuwait’s emergency and security services.
